Our team provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sustainable design for the 3.25 million SF, mixed-use development. The proposed project includes new commercial high-rise of 1.5 million sf plus new residential space of up to 1,500 units on a 23 to 24-acre site. Retail at 250 ksf is also provided and located below grade to provide micro climate by introducing lake water to a venetian cannel system.

The overall vision of the development is to maximize all aspects of the site’s resources, including Lake Varthur, and use the interplay and ‘waste’ streams of one system as the ‘source’ for another system.  The bio-digestion filter to the lake will allow the lake to be cleaned over time and provide water to the cannel system. Targeting LEED Gold.
