Located at an altitude of 2,300 feet above sea level Monte Bello has its own unique micro climate. Our designers were retained to develop a sustainable and sensitive design to fit with the existing architectural vernacular of the existing simple wood framed structures whilst creating an inviting winery event and visitors center..

 

Our sustainable design team were hired to develop a sustainable concept for the winery and incorporate onsite photovoltaic farm, and water recycling systems that were key to achieving a NZE, NZC and NZW for the winery.. Rainwater harvesting was also implemented to assist in the water use equation. The project was designed to a LEED Gold Standard.
